Antonietti & Ugonino
1905 - 1906
Antonietti & Ugonino was one of the many car companies in the pioneering days of automobiles that was in business a very short time and was based in Turin. In 1905 the two share holders Antonietti & Ugonino founded company which from a larger workshop started assembling motors for the German motorcycle manufacturer Fafnir. These motors were built into the frameworks and bought from other producers and imported. These vehicles were sold under the brand name of Fert.
There was not enough business so the two entrepreneurs tried to be an Italian representative and build for the French brand Pivot. At the 1906 Motor Show held in Turin, the press reported about the two models with a four-cylinder engine and a 3.8 liter engine under the badge name Antonietti & Ugonino. Whether this car was a self design or a prototype, it was assembled from foreign components and details are not known. Most likely only a single copy was built, since the company Antonietti & Ugonino provided only one press release and in the same year abandoned the construction of its cars.
