1930 - 1958
Franchi was founded in Milan in 1930 for the trade in spare parts and accessories for bicycles and motorcycles. In 1950, production of mopeds with Sachs engines with 98 cc and 150 cc was started. In 1954, Franchi created a moped with a 50 cc Sachs engine. In 1955, they introduced a 125 cc bike making up different models. At the end of that year they introduced a 175 cc bike, called the Gran Sport. 1958, the company went out of business had to close the doors for good.
