DRB was an Italian automotive manufacturer beginning its operations in 1966. In 1966, the Count Nicolo delle Rose and technician Cesare Bossaglia were to develope and build a GT car. 1967 this vehicle was to be presented at the Turin Auto Show, though financial problems would cause this project to fail. Although, a 6 cylinder, 2 stroke engine with 996 cc was finished and mounted in a Simca 1000; it had been extensively tested. With a triple Solex carburetor, the engine produced 75 hp at 6800 rpm. There was also a version made that produced 115 hp at 9000 rpm.
