Faini in 1923 and based in Lecco was founded by the Faini Brothers A turner at hart and from the Steel industry, along with fellow designer Peter Vassena who would go on to work for Rumi and Camiti. In 1923, they developed an auxiliary two stroke 98 cc engine and a 123 cc engine which became the hart of many mopeds, even a "for the ladies" model with open top frame was available. Before the closing of the Brand and final distribution, they launched models with 200 and 250 cc 4-stroke with a single head. The plant shut down its operations in 1927.
