Pirotta
1947 - 1958
Pirotta was an Italian motorcycle manufacture, founded in 1947, that presented its first motorcycle in 1948. The single-engine two-stroke 49 cc, with the three-speed gearbox at the center of the frame with the casing positioned vertically and inline with the cylinder. The machine came into series production in 1949.
In 1951, they produced the micro Pirottino with 40 cc cylinder fitted horizontally with a roller transmission, capable of 32 km/h, to be applied under the pedals of bicycles in list until 1954. There were mopeds with 49 ccengines and a chain driven Transmission chain, as well as 49 and 75 cc moped with the same characteristics. In 1954, the Pirottino moped is brought to 43 cc of displacement. At the end of 1954, the range added a two-stroke bike with 160 cc in a Touring, Luxury and Sport version. It had a front fork and lower oscillating a swingarm rear shock suspension. The transmission had four gears and the speed was around 115 km/h. Production lasts for only a few more years.
