1958 - 1966
Italemmezeta was founded in 1958 by Leopoldo Tartarini and built motorized motorcycles, who also in 1960 founded Italjet based in Bologna, the engines were the German MZ which mounted on Italian-built chassis. The first motorcycle produced had a displacement of 125 cc and a high frame line. That same year the introduced the MZ model with a 175 cc engine capable of 11 hp at 5000 rpm and maximum speed of 115 km/h. Later the company became Italjet.
