1926 - 1930
Dardo was constructed from the workshops Daedo of Turin and presented at the first Bicycle and Motorcycle Exhibition in 1926 in Turin. It had a horizontal cylinder engine and entered mass production towards the end of that year. The motorcycle was available in two versions, Normale and Sport with 132 cc to 124 cc. The gearbox was a two-tier block, while the friction cone is housed in the rear hub.
In 1928, they adopted a new tube frame and presented a new model with 175 cc four-stroke overhead valve. This model also has plenty of finned horizontal cylinder, the combustion chamber was hemispherical and the valves were arranged above the cylinder head, perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder. These models were produced from 1929 to 1930 until Dardo closed.
The name reappeared in the 1940's and offered an engine that could be attached to any bicycle.
