Lux was an Italian automotive manufacturer based in Turin with operations in 1906 through 1907. In 1905 Eugenio Paschetta, a bicycle manufacturer located in Turin, built a car with a 2-cylinder rear engine, a four-speed gearbox and chain drive. The brand name became "Lux". In 1906, Paschetta established the Lux automobile and bicycle factory. 1907 they closed an agreement with the French manufacturer Décauville. A crisis in the automotive sector, however, prevented the launching of this contract. Then again, Paschetta focused on the manufacture of bicycles and accessories.
