Milani is a small one motorcycle house of Cesena, specialized in the production of Mopeds.

1969 Cross Contest 50

Venne been based on in the 1964 from Gino Milani, son of the official one of a warehouse of sale and exchanges of bicycle and engine Garelli, the well-known engine to roll Mosquito to apply the bicycles.

The first moped produced is the It, a 50 cc to automatic friction, that follow it Spluga, provided of regulator, the Falzarego, with cambio to 4 gears and the Resia, all with truly utilitarian vocation and motorized Minarelli.

The leap of quality arrives in the 1969 with two models determined more provided and aggressive: the Cross Contest and it Sport Contest, both developed around to a solid chassis to double cradle closed in tubes d' steel, supplied from the Verlicchi and equipped with the engine Minarelli P4-SS with carburator "Of The Garden" from 20 mm to side basin and discharging to "expansion". The first one a monobloc inusuale is marked by in vetroresina that includes tank, saddles and back fender (production Aprilia), appreciated from the young in those days and immediately renamed "pintail" and, in version export, brags a potenza of 7.9 HP to 9000 turns. The model Sport, with identical power and long relations, reaches the 120 km/h. Obviously, both they land from the concessionary in version "code", with carburator 14/12 and power of 1.5 HP.

1971 Chopper 50 Milani

In the 1972 the Cross arrives 6 gears, with the engine Minarelli P6 and it "tail" saddle-fender still in fiberglass, but separate tank in sheet metal. It is voted to a road utilization and it is longed-for from the fourteen-year-old dell' period. In the 1973 is the time of the Cross Combat, provided of Minarelli P6 with thermal Allumac, a half professional one destined only to the competitions of motocross and ever approved for l' use on road. Always of quell' year is the "tubone" Carrera, that meets a considerable success, favored from the fashion of the moment that rewards this type of mopeds.

It is surely a period of gold for l' business, that arrives to produce and to sell until 7,000 unity the year. Advertising Testimonial are well-known actors like Gino Bramieri, Clear Walter, Cochi & Renato. But the lecterns of the market demand their tax: the models monomarcia suffer a lot the competition I Flatter, that with Hello, Boxer and Capable monopolizes almost completely the market. No luck smiles to the anticonvenzionale Chopper, presented in the '71 and renewed in the ' 73, very like to the same model Fantic Motor, anch' it done not especially appreciate from the Italian public, that these [[motorcycle|movement|moto loves to see them in the film but, clearly, is not very you show favor to use them.

1972 Mini

To the end of the seventies the area of the mopeds marks the step, on behalf of the category of the scooter, led dall' timeless Wasp and strong of a' spacious offer and economically aggressive, specially to work of the dreadful Asian campaign. A lot small businesses, nell' impossibility of to direct the production verse other models, find themselves in serious difficulty and limit to update themselves those in list, with all results' other that encouraging. More solid businesses, like Gilera, Movement Guzzi, Movement Morini, Dukedoms, Benelli and them simply young Aprilia and Fantic Motor succeed to support, but in the turn of little many years [[brand|brands|marchi] also prestigious, scompaiono from the market: Malanca, Meteora, Cimatti, Testi, Demm, Mondial, Torpado, Muller, Garelli, Italjet, Aspes, Bimm, Itom, In order not to talk about the skilled brands in the area of the all-terrain vehicle competitive, that do not totaled big sale of volumes certainty, like.

1975 Cross Strada 50

This is drawn it does not save the Milani: the last model produced, the "swan song", is the attractive and innovative Cross Co. Drinks., presented in the 1975 and strong wanted from two fascinated Venetian, Umberto oil Jar and Gianni Bettella. The movement, for that a chassis was drawn completely novelty, ascends a competitive engine Sachs to short race from 12.5 HP to 12,000 turns and an exclusive and refined system of sospensioni. The means, however, is destined mainly to the private pilots that employ it in competition, is supported from a version code, motorized with the Minarelli P6 that not ebbe however very happened. Always of the '75 is it "Cross Road", that ascends the old chassis of the' 69, an engine Minarelli P6 in version Compact System and traditional superstructures in sheet metal. Its line, perhaps too much inspired to the most well-known one Fantic Motor Caballero, does not succeed to lift them you of the brand and l' business, on the end of the 1979, is compelled to close the wings. The activity comes pointed out from the Unimoto of Longiano (Forli), that in the 1982 gains also the brand Aspes, but four years after is compelled, to its time, to stop the activity. A rib of the Milani nevertheless survives still today: the brand MBM, recorded from Milani in 1970 to differentiate the production, buiis still bicycles.
