Frera Corrado & C. was founded on November 9th, 1905 in Milan. The company's goal was to design and sale automobiles, bicycles and motorcycles. The company focused activities in the production of a small car called the Piccolo, an air-cooled 2-cylinder engine. In 1913 the factory gates of Frera forever closed.
Frera was the name of a company in Italy that build motorcycles based in Tradate in province of Varese.
Founded in 1905 with the name of 'Società Anonima Frera' "by Frera Corrado was among the first case motorcycling Italian and one of the largest volume of production.
Its success is due to the quality of the models and the military, in fact the Frera was the largest provider of motorcycles' Italian Army during World War
The Frera also attended the competitions bringing many victories among which we mention the raid in the North-South 1923 and 1925.
Because of depression come in 1929 and the loss of state contracts, the company goes into crisis, declaring bankruptcy for the first time in 1933 and finally closed its doors in 1936.

1931 Frera Legere
The 1931 range consisted of 9 machines ranging from 175 cc side valve to 493 cc ohv. This machine is in original, un-restored condition. It still has the 1958 tax disk in the holder and is equipped with Dell Orto carburetor and, Marelli magneto. The gearbox with 3 speed hand change was furnished by Burman. Engine dimensions are 53x79 mm, top speed is 70-80 km/h.
