1899 - 1902
Carcano, founded in Milan, was a Italian brand that manufactured auxiliary engines.
In 1899, they developed an auxiliary engine that could be mounted above the pedals of a bicycle. In 1902 the company closed, but this is where the Maserati brothers gained their first experiences in the vehicle world during the production of engines.
