Acerboni

Mario Acerboni, a good rider (born in Milan in 1889 and died in 1967) opened at the end of the twenties at Via Pacinotti motosalone, a motorcycle company with an attached shop where he sold Frera bikes. The store still exists today and is run by his nephew who sell bicycles and accessories.
When the company Tradate filed bankruptcy in the late thirties, Acerboni would ensure good quantity engines for light motorcycles and three wheelers, which were branded either MA or Acerboni.
Meanwhile, British Moto Panther, Coventry Eagle, but especially New Imperial.
With the advent of heavy duties on imports imposed by the fascist government, the New Imperial Acerboni matter and Panther disassembled and re-assembled in his workshop in Via Pacinotti, Gianfranco and helped by his son, who was also a good rider who participated, among others, the in Milano-Taranto and the Circuito del Lario.
