Piovaticci is a historical Italiaans brand of wegrace-motorfietsen.
The piece of furniture manufacturer Egidio Piovaticci from Pesaro sponge order initially the local coureur Eugenio Lazzarini. The first Piovaticci machine was actually a "renamed" 125 cc Maico. There was also a 250 cc-version. Both machines were little successful.
In 1974 became Jan Thiel and Martin Mijwaart (of Jamathi) hired round completely new 50- and 125 cc machines to develop. That did she extremely successful. End 1975 could Piovaticci the expensive race-activities however no longer yield and became these ended. Thiel and Mijwaart set their successes forward by Bultaco.
