1976 - 1977
Zanzani was a historic brand of motorcycles manufacturer founded by the Italian ex-driver Primo Zanzani built in 1976 and 1977 and built some reasonably successful racers. His first model, a 500-cc twin cylinder two-stroke was 1976 quarters in the Italian championship behind the Suzuki's Giacomo Agostini, Marco Lucchinelli and Virginio Ferrari. The machines from 1977, a 400 - and 500 cc performance, were based on the Yamaha RD 400.
