Borghi began production in Milan as a bicycle factory and in 1952, began to produce motorcycles and mopeds from 50 to 125 cc, marketed under the brand name Olympia. The 125 cc engine was a two-stroke, built by BSA, called the Brantom series , a DKW design, imported from England.
