Augusta (Ditta Blatto & NIRI), based in Turin and founded by Angelo Blatto, introduced their first motorcycle in 1926 (. The bike had a 350cc engine with a single overhead camshaft and three separate speeds. The engine was designed by the famous technician Angelo Blatto. That same year, the company moved from Turin to Bologna and the name became FIAB (Fabbrica Italiana Augusta Bologna). It also produces a motor bike in a 125 and 175 cc version.
