MR (Officine Meccaniche Romeo Raimondini), founded by Romeo Raimondi and Malagoli in 1922 and located in Milano, produced a Moped with a 175 cc engine fitted with an auto Transmission. They produced motor bikes with 98 cc and 123-cc Train engines.
The plant actually came from the Cypselus cycle plant, which was founded in 1899 by Ippolito Raimondini. He produced "chain free" bicycles, which had a shaft drive. Ippolito went to the body shop Orlandi in Modena, where he had to develop a car. The bicycle manufacturing was led by his son Romeo. Romeo also went in 1915 to Modena, where he went to work in a garage. In 1922, he and Malagoli began to build motorcycles under the MR brand. In 1925 the brand has produced three types of motorcycles, with a self-developed accelerator device. The production of motorcycles ended probably in 1926.
