Fides (Società Fides Fabbrica Automobili) was founded by Marca Brasier who was born in 1905 in Rome, focused almost exclusively on the licensed production of automobiles, which Henri Brasier developed in France. Despite the high hopes Fides never succeeded in the market. In 1911 Fides modest sales force a turnover and Lancia ended up buying the firm.
