1895 – 1903
Lanza was an Italian automotive manufacturer based in Turin with operations in 1898 through 1903. Michele Lanza was the owner of one of the first companies in Italy that devoted its crafts to automotive engineering. In 1895, they had already produced a six-seater in the Martina Workshops run by Michele Lanza and Giuseppe Stefanini in Turin (later constructed by Isotta-Fraschini). This vehicle was the first four-wheeled car in Italy. Although this model did not have too much success in the market, Lanzar, even though new development was being worked on in the Martina workshops left the company in the following year. In 1898 he founded his own company. There were, however, only a few cars produced up to the closure of the company in 1903.
