Micro-Vett

Micro-Vett is a leader in Italy and one of greatest in Europe for electric vehicles. The company has been associated with the NFIA (National Association of Vehicles Constructors) since 1992.

Micro-Vett has been in operation since 1987 in the field of electric traction, starting its business with the design of micro-citycars and then, since 1991, with the electrification of light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles for transport. All the know-how is Micro-Vett original. Either in partnership with famous brands and research companies (PIAGGIO, IVECO, FIAT Research) and directly, Micro-Vett offers products able to join mechanical reliability, affordability, security and comfort. In the last years Micro-Vett has developed stronger relationship with Piaggio S.p.a. for the electrification of PORTER (available in 20 versions at least), whose production began in 1994 (present-day production: 700 vehicles/year) and APE (since 1998). PORTER is the most sold electrical vehicle in Italy (beyond 2000) and the second in Europe; it is the only electrical vehicle sold in series.

Important customers like FIAT, ENEL, Italian Mail, Torino Municipality, Disneyland (Paris), Waste Management, DHL, Stockholm Municipality use since many years tens of electrical Porter, with lowest operating costs and an excellent satisfaction.

The applications of the electric traction have been then extended to prototype vehicles, pre-series and boats for inner or coast waters. Micro-Vett has recently developed its research activities for medium and heavy goods transport vehicles, either in partnership - IVECO for the electrification of the EUROCARGO (15 tons) and DAILY (6,5 tons) - and in collaboration with CRF (FIAT Research: DUCATO, SCUDO). Furthermore, together with National Administration for Scientific and Technological Research, Micro-Vett won two national competitions – with enclosed projects – for the developing of innovative electric vehicles: one dedicated to tourist places (that brought to the achievement of Electric Gig, derived by Porter, in 1997) and another dedicated to the achievement of electric vehicle for disabled persons transport (1999).

  YDEA ELECTRIC
  A practical and clean city micro-car, drivable without license: Ydea electric, one of the most appreciated of the segment, is now available with electric traction. Economic but powerful, Ydea electric is the ideal vehicle for city individual mobility in contexts where are requested no gas and acoustic emissions.

  DOBLO' ELECTRIC MICRO-VETT
  The Doblo is the most appreciated MPV all over Europe, now available in most evolute electric traction version: Lithium-ion batteries guarantees low weight and high performances: 120 km/h speed, 150 kms range in city, unaltered payload capacity. All original qualities of Doblò are saved to allow all use without pollution and with incredibly low acoustic emissions: Doblò Electric is available in all the variants of traditional 2-5 seats diesel vehicle.

  MICRO-VETT HYBRID DAILY
  Daily, one of the most appreciated commercial vehicles for its qualities of fortitude, practicality and reliability, is now available in a new hybrid version: two traction, diesel and electric, allow to meet all the needs of integrated mobility, solving the problems of city pollution and environment safeguard. Pressing a simple button you choose the traction: diesel for extra-city roads, electric for contexts in which is appreciated a lowest environmental impact. You can also re-charge batteries during march. Daily Hybrid 35 q is available with tens of different outfits.
