Maino (S.p.A. Giovanni Maino), founded by Giovanni Maino and based in Allessandria, built limited numbers of motorcycles between 1902 - 1910 and 1945 - 1956, with several periods of inactivity. Early machines had Souverain 2 ½ hp engines from Switzerland.
After 1945, Giovanni Maino built 38cc Mosquito powered mopeds, and lightweights with NSU and Sachs engines of 98 cc, 123 cc and 147 cc.
