1875 - 1926
Stucchi was founded by the engineer Luigi Prinetti, a politician of the newly united Italy (he was also Minister of Public Works), along with the Stucchi brothers in 1875. The factory for bicycling as they affect to bicycles, to tandem, quadricycles then and motor tricycles, with one of them starts to get light, as runner, Ettore Bugatti. By the end of the nineteenth century already more than 7000 vehicles per year were leaving from its plants in Milan, in Via Tortona.
Around 1902 the company changed and began the production of motorcycles. The engineer Leiden Carlo was then designing and under the Stucchi brand, the machines were among the best of Italian production and were considered at the forefront of technology, a position it maintained until the First World War. Under the direction of Adalberto Garelli, the Stucchi company had over 1300 employees. Stucco continued to be on the market until its closure in 1926.
