Moto Meteora is a historic motorcycle brand built in Monteveglio, Bologna.
Angelo Zanasi set that mark in 1953 already. The first models had a one-cylinder four-stroke engine OMS. Later, there were 125 cc models, a 50 cc moped and the 50 cc scooter Pony, which was a NSU-engine equipped. In the eighties there were mopeds with Franco Morini engine produced. Mid-eighties, production was terminated.
Subsequently, the factory, based in Monteveglio (Bologna) increases the production with a 125cc, a moped of 50cc and a scooter, the Pony, which follows the moped Poker, the latter two with an engine of 50 cc NSU. Later, the production focuses on mopeds.
In the eighties of the XX, the list is meeting with the engine Morini Franco 4M/R distribution and regulated by the piston, the Scacco Kit, with the same engine, but with suction valve regulated by strip monotrave and chassis, and a "cinquantino" to cross the Arrow CR with the engine Minarelli P4 to 49.6 cc, in addition to 2001K, the Sebring Mini, in Minimet.
The activity ceases in the 1980's.
