The Fiat 503 was a medium range car produced by the Fiat from 1926 in 1927. It was based on the same mechanicals as the Fiat 501 and the Fiat 502, but had a longer frame and a more powerful engine, 27 Hp at 3000 rpm. The cc's remained the same for this model, that is a 1460 cc four cylinder engine with a four-speed manual transmission. Unlike previous models, there were brakes on all four wheels.
The ignition system was produced by magnet, had four seats and reached the top speed of 72.5 km/h with a RWD setup.
Although produced for just two years, the 503 was built in many different variations; a Berlina, limousine and a convertible. Over 42,000 examples of The 503 were produced.
