The Fiat 525 is a passenger car produced by Italian automobile manufacturer Fiat between 1928 and 1931. The 525 was larger successor to the Fiat 512. The 525 was modified only after a year it was introduced and named as 525N. Sport variant 525 SS had more powerful engine and shorter chassis.
4400 examples were produced.
The Fiat 525 is a large automobile manufactured by the Italian manufacturer Fiat between 1928 and 1931.
After abandoning the project, although well advanced, the big 530 to 8 cylinders to reflect economic conditions of the market, Fiat decided to replace the 512 by this new car, the 525.
Equipped with a new 6-cylinder engine line 3 739 cc 68.5 hp develop the 1st version was built more than 511 copies of a special version for the Pope, delivered on 20 April 1929.
The second set consisted of 3 models:
- The 525N, with a shortened chassis and mechanical improvements, this version was built in 1784 up to 1931 copies, many of which were exported.
- The 525S and 525SS versions are sporting short chassis with mechanical and more powerful, the SS had an engine developing 89 hp. More than 2,100 copies were built until 1931.
