Fiorino is the model name that Italian car maker Fiat gives to the van derivatives of their small cars. The Fiorino has the largest cargo capacity of its class and was last imported into the UK in 2001.

Fiat Fiorino mk1 1977–1984

The first version of the Fiorino was based on the Series 2 Fiat 127 with the back being a van box, i.e. a "high-cube" design. It was launched in 1977. It received a facelift in 1980. The Fioriono used same engines as Fiat 127.

Fiat Fiorino mk4 2008-

The Mk4 Fiat Fiorino will go on sale in early 2008. Sharing architecture with the currently-named Citroën Nemo and Peugeot Bipper, it has different styling to the current Fiat Doblo. The new Fiorino is developed between Fiat, PSA Peugeot Citroën and Tofaş and its based on Fiat Grande Punto platform. This project can be seen as a breakthrough in Tofaş history. The car will be built in Bursa factory in Turkey.

Production outside Italy

  • Argentina: Fiat Fiorino, first, second and third series was constructed in the factory of Córdoba, until in 2000.
  • Brazil: Fiat Fiorino is still in production in Betim, Brasil.
  • Spain: Fiorano was constructed by SEAT and sold as SEAT Fiorino. In 1982, after the conclusion of the relationship of collaboration between Fiat and the Spanish State, the production continued with mechanics based on the SEAT Fura (Fiat) and with the denomination of 127 SEAT Terra. The only difference was front end based on the SEAT Marbella (Fiat Panda); the production continued until 1998.
  • China: Fiorano was the first vehicle that Fiat authorized to produce in China. Then, in the 2001 Palio and Siena arrived.
