The Fiat 8 HP was a car produced by the Italian manufacturer Fiat in 1901. The car has a straight-2 engine rated at 8 hp and top speed of 45km/h. The Fiat 8 HP motor is closely derived from previous model of the young company FIAT in Turin, Fiat 6 HP.
It is brand new in its technical characteristics. While retaining the same engine, it is now placed at the front in an upright position, the gearbox is to train "player" ie that the gables are slidable. This will be the last Fiat to be designed by engineer Aristide Faccioli and will be manufactured at the plant in Corso Dante.
Two sets would emerge, the first feature is its external radiator coils, the second radiator would be a honeycomb. The transmission was secured by a double chain.
A total of 41 copies were manufactured.
