Designer | Leonardo Fioravanti under Pininfarina |
The Alfa Romeo 33.2 is a Pininfarina designed concept car, first presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1969. Leonardo Fioravanti designed this spectacular looking 2-door coupe. The design was influenced by the Ferrari P5 concept shown a year earlier at Geneva.
The car was powered by a mid-mounted 2 litre V8 engine producing 245PS at 8800 rpm, and is based on the road going 33 Stradale. Top speed of the car is around 250kmh.
There were two more 33 based concepts: Giugiaro's Iguana and Bertone's Carabo. The 33.2 featured hydraulically working butterfly doors and pop-up headlights.
