Cagiva Super City
The Cagiva Super City produced by Cagiva is superbike, which are models similar to enduro by tires and brakes for use on road tracks. This bike replaces Cagiva Tamanaco and is accompanied by Cagiva K7 an enduro bike and the Cagiva N 90 a motorcycle from the desert.
Introduction
The Supermotard is a fairly recent discipline, given that there was before 2000 and the home of Varese has just launched its models ten years before the recognition of this discipline, becoming the initiator of these models The Cagiva its models produced in displacement 50, 75 and 125 cc.
Super City 50
This bike is the engine capacity of less Super City and was produced by 1991 in 1995, in two equal, but with exchange different, in fact the first wave(from 1991 to 1992) has the change to three gears, because of a law which limited the mopeds to the maximum number of reports. After the law itself was repealed in late'92, Cagivabegan the second set(since 1993 in 1995) with the change to six-speed transmission that allows better use of all schemes rotation of the engine.
This motion had the wheels in a three-spoke alloy with the suspension back to levers, (quite common solution in those years) the front fender was low as in type bike path, in this particular differenziasi from supermotard that follow. The fork overturned were fitted with parasteli, and worked much of the same color of the stalks themselves, as to be easily visible at a glance.
Super City 75
This motion is the displacement of intermediate Super City, had a short life (from 1993 in 1995) and was virtually identical to aesthetically Cagiva Super City 50 second series (six-speed transmission), with the difference of engine and a double-pack laminated petal instead of the individual. This engine, in order to function without any problem with the radiator of the Model 50, had a cylinder fitted with a alettatura, it has exploited the Liquid cooling that the air. The alettature were not very obvious, because the additional cooling of the engine should not be much, and were relatively short and limited to the sides of the cylinder.
Super City 125
This bike was the version of engine capacity greater than the Super City, was produced by 1991 in 2001 and was characterized by significantly better components than the smaller versions of displacement.
This bike mount the engine block of the myth, without any change in fact, undergoing the same changes of Myth over the years, only l 'Expansion was different and not could it be otherwise given the type of motion, only that particular quest'espansione was, in fact at the end (pin) that was divided in two, so to have two mufflers, a very particular adopted previously by Freccia C9.
The Group of heat Super City was using the same cylinder of Myth, as changed by changing the cylinder sports model of Myth (in'91 take the engine of the model Eddie Lawson), whereas the piston has always used the curved piston bifascia code ' '8A0054888.
Other unusual aspects of the bike is the support of the front brake caliper, and that worked very well hooked up a small conveyor of the air flow sent to the brake pad. The wheels were the typical three races of the early models of myth, while the line of hull and the fairing, as in the model displacement child, remembered that from a distance of Cagiva Elefant bifaro.
This bike because of its connection with the myth, with its block engine has changed names over the years, following the different exchange rate adopted by the Myth, the models produced by 1991 in 1996 are simply called Super City, however the models produced by 1997 in 2001 are called Super Ev City, because of the change to six-speed transmission taken from Mito ev and hence also on this motion, a other important change was the carburetor, rose from 34 Dell'Orto VHSB ES a Dell'Orto PHBH 28th.
