La moto, presentata nel [[1987]] è l'evoluzione della [[Cagiva Elefant]], da cui differisce per via del nuovo [[gruppo termico]], completamente ridisegnato, dove adotta un nuovo sistema per aumentare le prestazioni, che consiste in una valvola di regolazione della luce dello scarico, esattamente come per la [[Cagiva Freccia]] C9, questo sistema migliorò la flessibilità del motore, con un anno di ritardo questa moto venne affiancata dalla [[Cagiva Tamanaco]] una seconda evoluzione della Elefant, ma piu incentrata per l'uso stradale.
 
 
 
Le differenze con il modello precedente sono praticamente finite, dato che il resto della moto è identico, mentre questa versione venne sostituita nel [[1990]] dalla [[Cagiva N 90]], mentre un secondo modello la [[Cagiva K7]] ne prende spunto.
