The Aprilia RSV 4 is a super bike manufactured by Aprilia. Production of the motorcycle is scheduled to begin in 2008. The motorcycle was unveiled on February 22, 2008, at the International Piaggio Group Convention in Milan, Italy. It is powered by a 65-degree 1,000 cc (61 cu in)Template:Convert/test/Aon V-4 engine, the company's first production four-cylinder engine. Aprilia claims that the new engine was designed specifically for superbike racing and that the engine will put over 200hp in race configuration.

The RSV-4 is scheduled to become Aprilia’s flagship model in March 2009.

Aprilia intends to race the motorcycle in the 2009 Superbike World Championship and could also compete in some races in 2008 as part of the bike’s development program.
