Giovanni de Riu (born March 10, 1925 in Macomer) is a former racing driver from Italy. He was an engineer who entered his own Maserati A6GCM mainly in non-championship races and failed to qualify for the 1954 Italian Grand Prix, with a privately-entered Maserati.
Later, he headed the commission investigatingJochen Rindt's fatal accident.
