BIO:
Creating artwork has always been a driving force for artist Doug Meythaler. Working in watercolors and acrylics Doug strives for a realistic look. Doug has been painting professionally for 17 years. In that time, Doug’s award winning work has found its way into many private and corporate collections as well as having created work for the collectables industry. His work has also appeared in many publications. Though quite a lot of Doug’s work through the years has been of sports related images, recently his focus has shifted towards painting automotive and motorsports subject matter. Growing up with a father who restored a 1919 Ford Model T Touring and a family of all boys, it’s no accident that automotive subject matter found its way into his work. “My passion for automobiles and motorsports has always pushed me artistically. One thing I have heard over and over is paint what you love. I think that shows through in my work.”
