Sestriere (French: Sestrières) is an alpine village in Italy, a comune of the Province of Turin, at 44°57′N, 6°53′E

, at 2035 m above sea-level, with 838 inhabitants (2003). It is 17 km (11 miles) from the French border. It will be among the venues of the 2006 Winter Olympics with some alpine skiing events to be held on the surrounding slopes. It is also a famous starting and arrival point in the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia.
