Luigi Chinetti (born in Milan, July 17, 1901 - dead August 17, 1994), was a racecar driver from Italy, later naturalized American. Among other achivements with Ferrari, Chinetti drove their first car to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans. His win was made even more impressive by doing more than 23 hours of the driving himself.
Later, Chinetti became Ferrari importeur in the United States and founded North American Racing Team ( N.A.R.T.).
