The Savoia-Marchetti S.73 was a three engine airliner that flew during the 1930s and early 1940s. The first prototype flew in 1934. The S.73 flew in passenger service with airlines such as Sabena, Ala Littoria, Czech Airlines and Avio Linee Italiane. At the outbreak of World War II, some of these planes were pressed into military transport duty with Italy and Belgium.
