Gilera DNA
The Gilera DNA was a modern hybrid between a scooter and motorcycle.
Gilera produced it in 50cc, 125cc, and 180cc variants. While the DNA looked like a conventional motorbike, it featured the automatic 'twist and go' capabilities of a scooter along with electronic start and helmet storage space. The helmet storage was in the 'dummy fuel tank' that sat in the place of a fuel tank. The actual 9 litre fuel tank is fitted inside the bike's body paneling and is filled through the 'dummy tank'. This model was discontinued by Gilera in 2003 and replaced by the Gilera Runner, available only in 50cc.
