1926 - 1928
Calcaterra was an Italian motorcycle manufacturer founded in Milan by the engineer Piero Calcaterra and in late 1926, built a small two-stroke 175 cc. The machine went into series production in 1927. The special design had the crankcase and gearbox were divided horizontally, in contrast to the vertically divisible blocks that were customary at that time.
