Sanvenero was a Italian motorcycle manufacturer founded by Emilio Sanvenero in 1980, loacted in Tuscan and who was already a part owner of MBA motorcycles.
The founding of Sanvenero occurred in the '80s, in order to prepare two bikes to be deployed in the competition the following season. The 125 Class with a two stoke cylinder and the 500 Class with a four cylinder two stoke, whose engine architecture was strongly inspired by the Γ Suzuki RG 500 engine that won 7 titles in 1976 to 1982.
The debut in Motomondiale took place in the 1981 season , with the French Guy Bertin and Spanish Ricardo Tormo in the class 125 and the Italian Carlo Perugini in the 500 class. Results in the eighth-liter, after all, was decent (Bertin winning a Monza and Tormo wining the Anderstorp).
