'''Meldi''', founded in 1927 by [[Giuseppe Meldi]] who was a mechanic based in [[Turin]], specialized in the construction of [[cyclecar]].  They had a brief excursion into the automobile business producing [[cyclecar]]s with the typical tube frame and front suspension up at all times. The [[cyclecar]]s boom was over in 1933 and production was discontinued and '''Meldi''' closed its doors.
